Now that is sharp. Love the tarp in trunk and the chrome rocker panel. One detailed awesome car. I'm not a ford fan, but the 57/58 were a beautiful car. Built many a model of them.

My co-owner at MCJSD, spacecowboy built one for me and it looks like a spitting image of the car I had when I was in the Army in 67 stationed at Ft Polk, LA...the armpit of the world, yuck!

I don't know how I missed this before now! WOW, what a gorgeous car. Now, as far as Ft. Polk goes, I would say that it is kinda out in the boondocks for sure! However, there are some GREAT places around there to visit! And come on now, Louisiana ain't all THAT bad! Great food and great people.....!

We went on bivuac one night and I swear the mosquitos were big enough to carry off our sleeping bags. It was terrible.

HAHA! You think those are big, you should see some of the ones in the Spillway and the Marsh! And, in the marsh, you have to deal with the knats too, that are so thick that you will actually breath em in if you ain't careful. We were in the spillway fishin (tryin to fish) and between fighting off mosquitos that were 1/2 inch long and gigantic bumble bees and wasps, it was insane! I told my brother in law that these bugs were gonna eat us and leave our bones for the gators! Then, a friend of ours from Pierre Part (think Swamp People) told us to stuff some dryer sheets in our caps and shirt collars - haha, we laughed till we tried it - it works!!! Anyway,,,,,

I think that would discourage me FOREVER for fishing, and just build models.
