Ok, here are some pictures of the new First Gear 1938 International Harvester D2 Pickup. This one is in the 75th Anniversary of Tractor Supply Company scheme, and a real bargain at $29.99 considering that most of them are in the $44.00+ range. Real nice replica of a very pretty little pickup. The paint is flawless as usual, detail is great throughout, but, this is a curbside model, hence, no opening hood - there is a nice rendition of the bottom end of the engine underneath along with full frame details. Also, the front wheels do not turn, but it does not take away from the truck at all. The Danbury mint GMC is a flea market find that I was able to scoop up a few years ago for $20.00!! The stakes are all in the box along with the barrels, but some of them are broken - and one mirror is missing, but I figured I could use it as a flat bed instead! Usual fantastic detail throughout - love this truck!!
Edit - just noticed the headlight lighting up the trees!! I will fix that thing right away!! Dave
Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!! More to follow......

Hey Nathan - Thanks, kinda proud of em myself! The IH pickup came from a store called Tractor Supply Company, which is a farm supply style place. The GMC is an outstanding example of what you can find at flea markets when you look close enough. I was in a Shreveport and happened to find a small, out of the way place that dealt mostly in antique china and furniture. So, while looking around I found a shoe box on the bottom of a bookshelf and in it was the truck! This truck is actually a stake bed for carrying barrels of bear - the stakes are actually made of wood, and were all broken up - I think a kid must have had it! Anyway, I asked, and the lady says "$20.00 and its yours!" - I almost passed out, but ran outa that store with my GMC!! No ramps, but I have some from another truck that I can use.....! Good stuff!
Thanks,
Dave

I once got a 69 Hurst/Olds at a Tractor Supply Company in Nacodocghes, TX when I was seeing a lady down there, actually thought about marrying her because we had alot of stuff in common, she collected Hot Wheels and diecasts herself. I sure missed out on a good one, I am not sure why I didn't marry her, she was a great lover, taught me alot about how to give a woman pleasure, in the clean way if you know what I mean.
