But I am getting tired of posting stuff, like my most recent builds, and NOBODY sayin' nothing at all. I go through the whole entire forum, all the categories and boards and look for new stuff, I know it is time consuming, but all you have to look at is the date it is or was posted and if it's within a day or two of the current date, look at it, especially if you were the last one showing, that generally means nobody said 'squat' about what you took the time to post. And while I am on this subject, I know from experience that to post pics of any kind requires a form of commitment to our forum and I thank you for posting. I post everything, I post my wips and then my finished builds. I have over 500 albums at Fotki and most of the cars seen here posted by me are mine. unless otherwise noted, case in point the 40 Ford I got from slammediam aka shane and the Phantom Wagons and convertibles and Rescue 51 Squad that sc did for me. Now, I realize some of you work, and I wish I did, but I am disabled and am a stay at home guy, not a dad (not even married), but I have been taking notice of the lack of participation and some of you come daily but say nothing, even a hi how are you would be nice, I can guarantee you that you WILL get an answer from me. I hope this will encourage more to participate. If I overstepped my boundaries I am sorry, but when you go through the entire forum and see no activity for days, it doesn concern me, I am like a Mother hen watching the flock. I care about you guys probably a little too much. But it's my pastor's heart that God gave me.

Hey Nathan -
I feel the same way, and I know I don't post like I should! Not sure what the deal is. I notice on some of the other forums that I belong to, some guys can post something and then get ALL kinds of reactions and other comments, while some can post and not even get a peep outta anybody. Its almost like a click, if you aren't part of it, then you are out. I think the other ting that is going on is summer - lots of folks out and about workin and playin, but not really reading a lot online, or maybe just not staying long enough to post a comment. I know some feel like if they are not building, then they do not want to say anything. Maybe once winter gets here, and people are indoors and working on the hobby, maybe the action will pick up. One forum I am on has a PROLIFIC builder and collector, he used top post all the time, then just stopped one day, so I PM'd him - told me he was super busy at work, had yard work to do, fishing, camping etc. so he closes down his hobby room during the summer. Once winter gets to his location, sometime in October, he will start posting and working on models again. He says he checks in periodically, but doesn't post cause he is not building! I think this may be the symptom that we are seeing now. I am not working right now either, but it is not by choice - lookin for employment now, but maybe I am too old or something, plus terrible economy. So, that is my take on the situation. I say just hang in there, and know that there are other guys just like us out there. I also think that some of the visitors that we have are looking for a place to land, and it will happen soon! I hope to have some diecast photo sessions soon, so look for more posts from me!!
Keep the Faith my friend!
